Via the autobahn

From the north:

Munich-Salzburg autobahn, A10/Tauern autobahn to the St. Michael exit & 10 km in the direction of
Mauterndorf or on the B 99 from Radstadt via Obertauern

From the east:

Vienna-Semmering-Leoben-Unzmarkt- Murau-Ramingstein or Vienna-A1 to Salzburg and as above

From the south:

Udine-Autostrada-Tarvisio-Villach- Katschberg tunnel St. Michael exit 

Via the federal highway 

Arrival in Munich (Salzburg) - Mauterndorf 120 km
Vienna- Mauterndorf 300 km

From the north:

Munich autobahn - Salzburg, Tauern autobahn in Radstadt, Untertauern, Obertauern (access for over 7.5 tons possible), Tweng, Mauterndorf

From the south via the federal road:

Villach – Spittal – Rennweg – Katschberg
(access for up to 7.5 tons possible – maximum trailer weight 750 kg) – 15% incline

Toll

Campers or trailers under 3.5 tons (maximum permitted total weight)

  •  â‚¬ 9.50 (through 2 tunnels) for example the Katschberg and Tauern tunnels
  • € 4.50 (through 1 tunnel) for example the Tauern tunnel € 9.00 Tauern tunnel round trip

Gobox

Campers or trailers over 3.5 tons (maximum permitted total weight) require a so-called GOBOX.

Arrival by plane 

The nearest airports are Salzburg or Klagenfurt.
Shuttle transfer from the Klagenfurt and Salzburg airports to Mauterndorf - duration ca. 1.5 hrs. 

Arrival by train

The nearest train station is located in Radstadt (40 km away). After you have reached Mauterndorf, you can take a public bus or taxi.
